BIS
BIS is a modular solution for policy and claim administration for life and non-life insurance companies, based on a large set of parameters and tables. With this solution an insurance company can quickly and easily develop and adjust its products to the changing demands of clients and market.
BIS contains and exists of:
- a fully integrated relations management system, in which more than 25 different roles can be maintained and which can be connected to an existing system for supervision of relations;
- a structure for supervision of both policies and claims, in which specific product related transaction screens are used only when specific details of the products are concerned;
- a complete transaction of co-insurance, both from the directing and the participating party;
- an integrated reinsurance module for management of both optional and contractual reinsurance;
- a technical accounting for the administrative management of the reports of current accounts with clients and intermediaries. Resulting from this technical accounting, journal items are created for transfer to a general ledger system;
- a sub-module for management information, in which legal reports and statistics concerning the company are created;
- a technical module for non-life insurance, in which both individual and company insurances are possible;
- a technical module for individual and group life insurances with integrated actuarial rules.
